Although I only stayed for one night, the experience was super good. The environment is great and you can see the stars when you look up at night. The service is also super good. Because I had problems with the reserved time, the pick-up was delayed and I had no complaints. Although there are no restaurants nearby, the B&B has its own restaurant and the food is delicious. There are also very cute puppies. It is definitely worth coming! !

We were greeted by three friendly staff the moment we alighted from the car. There were also fruits and snacks brought to our room, a thoughtful gesture after a long journey. The hotel also provided deserts at night but we didn’t get to try as we returned late after exploring the ancient city. We had the breakfast which was included in the stay and got to say it was the best breakfast spread we had in our whole Yunnan trip.
We booked the hotel for the view and it certainly did not disappoint. Waking up to the majestic mountains and little farm animals was the highlight of our trip. The large farm and animals belonged to the hotel and we were free to roam around to take photos. Every spot was photogenic.
There was also a complimentary photoshoot in traditional costumes with three photos to takeaway. We were satisfied with how the photos turned out and bought extra from the shop.
Do note that it’s located about 15-20mins drive from the ancient city. Wasn’t an issue for us because the magnificent view and fantastic service as absolutely worth it.
We have nothing but praises for this hotel. Our only regret was not staying an extra night.

The hotel was nicely designed, not the nearest to the city centre but not an issue calling a car for hire via DiDi. You get really nice mountain views and the main draw must be the adorable animals on the compound - dogs, horses, deers, swans, sheep.
Staff is generally quite warm but not the most attentive. A specific incident left a rather bad impression - one of the huskies was being a little too playful and tried following the supervisor into the field despite him telling it not to. In a fit of anger, he kicked the dog multiple times and even threw a rake at it to scare it off. It seemed like a normal occurrence as none of the staff flinched at the scene. Just disconcerting, seeing how the hotel prides itself on being an animal-friendly place.

Such a nice and memorable stay! Service was superb. Loved the 3 big dogs that were at the hotel - super friendly. View from room was beautiful - a fantastic way to end the Shangrila trip. Would highly recommend.
